Srinagar SBI branch attacked; official wounded

Srinagar: A bank official was injured when militants hurled a grenade at the main branch of the State Bank of India on September 30 evening, official sources said.

The grenade exploded inside the bank's premises on the busy Residency Road at around 19:05 hours (IST) injuring Assistant Manager Dinesh Verma, the sources said.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
