Allahabad HC stays proceedings against Joshi

Lucknow: The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on September 30 stayed proceedings in the Babri Masjid demolition case against Human Resource Development Minister Murli Manohar Joshi in Rae Bareilly special court.

The court gave the order on a petition filed by Joshi, challenging the September 19 order of the Rae Bareilly court to frame charges against him.

The proceedings in the Rae Bareilly court against Joshi will remain stayed till the disposal of the writ petition. The high court has also summoned all records of the case from the Rae Bareilly court.
