Global telecom professionals group to meet in B'lore

Bangalore: BiCSi, an association of telecommunications professionals spread across the globe, would
hold a one-day conference in Bangalore on October 7 to discuss issues pertaining to telecom
infrastructure, its design, distribution and installation.
The event will see participation of top telecom and datacom cabling companies like Avaya, D-Link,
Krone, Molex, Nordx and Panduit, a release said.
Headquartered in the United States, BiCSi is a professional, not-for-profit telecommunications
association that serves nearly 20,000 members in more than 90 countries around the world. BiCSi offers
courses, conferences, publications and professional registration programmes for telecommunication
designers and installers, the release said.
The professionals at the BiCSi 2003 conference will share and discuss the evolving standards, latest
technologies, trends, products and services, enhancement of quality services, data distribution design,
the best practices and standards in telecommunication cabling, it said.
