New Delhi: In the continuing search operations, Army has killed four more terrorists in Gurez in North
Kashmir, bringing the total tally of militants killed in the area in the last one week to 20.
Army officials said that four terrorists were killed on September 30 night in fierce fighting North of
Kanzalwan near the line of control (LoC), where the jawans of Ladakh Scouts stumbled upon them.
The terrorist are reported to be part of big band of estimated group of 50-60 militants, which had been
pushed across the LoC under cover of heavy artillery fire by Pakistani troops last week, official said.
"These terrorists are all Pakistani nationals and belong to Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad,"
documents recovered from dead militants have revealed, officials said.
They said it appeared that pushing across of this big group indicated Pakistani plan to infiltrate all the
2,000 militants now en massed in camps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) before winter.
