Security forces, acting on a tip-off, cordoned the village early in the morning. When the cordon was
tightened around a particular house where militants were hiding, the ultras opened fire on the security
forces and in the ensuing gun-battle two militants were killed, they said.
The house used by militants as their hideout was also damaged in the gun-battle, the sources
said.
Militants shot and critically wounded a shopkeeper, Manzoor Ahmad Zargar, at Kreeri Bazar in Baramulla
