Hyderabad: Five days after the bid on his life, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on
October 6 resumed official work operating from his Jubilee Hills residence.
Naidu reviewed irrigation works and water management in the state and inflows into the state with state
Irrigation Minister K Srihari, official sources said.
He also held a meeting with top officials and is understood to have reviewed the law and order situation
in the state.
The state government has appointed a high level inquiry commission to probe into the entire gamut of
security mechanism in Andhra Pradesh even as a proposal to give National Security Guard (NSG) cover
to the Chief Minister is under consideration.
Naidu, who was injured in the neck, left hand and nose in the blast triggered by People's War Group
(PWG) naxals at Tirupati on October 1, was advised full rest for three to four days though the Chief
Minister expressed his desire to get back to work immediately.
Information Technology Minister B Gopalkrishna Reddy and two other MLAs injured in the attack are
recovering and responding well, the sources added.
