Indian, Indonesian cos sign MoU to boost IT research

Bali (Indonesia): A Pune-based Indian firm, an Indonesian company and an Indonesian university on
October 7 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster collaboration in developing
Information Technology (IT), education and research activities in this South East Asian country.
The MoU was signed by Vijay Bhatkar, director I2IT Private Limited of Pune, Ishwar Daryanani,
coordinator of Yayasan Hassaram, Indonesia and Professor H Himendra Wargahadibrata, rector of
University of Padjadaran of Indonesia on the sidelines of the ASEAN (Association of South East Asian
Nations) Business and Investment Summit addressed by Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.
The areas of cooperation would include any programme or activity feasible to further academic
interaction among the parties and the investment for the project would be negotiated further, a press
release said.
The MoU would remain in force for three years.
