Five killed in petrol & gas cylinders' explosion

Kolhapur: Five persons were killed and one was seriously injured in an explosion of petrol and gas cylinders near Maharana Pratap Chowk in Kolhapur on October 7, police said.

The cylinders that were illegally stored, exploded at 8.30 am (IST), police control room sources said.

The cause of the explosion was being investigated, the sources said adding that the deceased were yet to be identified.
