New Delhi: Four Army men, posted in the security of President A P J Abdul Kalam, have been arrested on the charges of raping a student, police said on October 8.

Manish, Satinder, Kuldeep and Harpreet, posted as Presidential 'swaar' (horsemen) in the cavalry, have been arrested after a Delhi University student reported to the police that she had been gang raped by them at Buddha Jayanti park near Daula Kuan on October 6, police said.

The girl had gone to the park along with her friend when the four accused teased her, they said, adding as the victim and her friend were about to leave the park, the accused pushed her into the car and sexually assaulted her.

Medical examination conducted on the victim confirmed the sexual assault, they said.

Meanwhile, a court of inquiry has also been ordered in the matter by the Army.
