Disproportionate assets case registered against Maya

New Delhi: CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), which conducted raids against former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, has also registered a case of possession of assets disproportionate to income against her, agency sources said on October 8.

The disproportionate assets case has been registered to probe her assets from April 1995, to August 29 2003, during which Mayawati not only held the office of Chief Minister but was also an MLA and a Member of Parliament, the sources said.
