Four Naxals arrested, landmines seized in Andhra

Karimnagar (AP): Police arrested four naxalites of the outlawed People's War Group (PWG) and seized
two landmines at Narsingpur village in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh on October 7.
During a routine check, the police found four extremists moving around the SRSP (Sri Ram Sagar
Project) canal area under suspicious circumstances and nabbed them, the police said.
The arrested naxals were identified as P Gangaram, Kola Lingam, Muddam Lingam and B Ramulu, who
were involved in a case of arson in the district recently.
The police also recovered two landmines from the ultras, who were later produced before a local
magistrate and were remanded to two-week judicial custody.
