Yashodhra Raje withdraws resignation from BJP

New Delhi: Yashodhara Raje Scindia who had sought to resign from BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) has decided to withdraw her resignation and campaign for the party in the Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh slated for December 1.

Her decision to be in the party came after her meeting with Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu in New Delhi at the party office on October 11 morning, party sources said.

Scindia, who is a member of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly representing Shivpur had sometime back wanted to quit her membership of the Assembly and the party but has now decided not to resign from the party.
