Naidu might visit Tirumala soon for thanks giving

Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who survived an attack on him during
his visit to the shrine of Lord Venkateswara on October 1, is likely to visit the shrine by the end of the
coming week.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) sources told reporters on October 12 that the Chief Minister was likely visit
the holy shrine as a thanks giving.
In another development, former Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Prakash Singh, a person with
vast experience in tacking extremism in Northeast, was likely to camp from October 12 to conduct his
probe. He would be probing on how the claymore mines were planted despite presence security and
surveillance and also on the security lapses, if any, police sources said.
Singh, who has been given two months to submit his report would also be suggesting measures for
further strengthening of security cover for the Chief Minister and other VIPs who visited the hill
shrine.
Meanwhile, the sources said the special investigation team led by Dr D T Naik, that began its probe four
days ago, had unearthed several important evidence to prove the exact perpetrators of the crime.
