Explosives meant for claymore mines seized in Jharkhand

Hazaribagh: In a major haul, police seized huge stock of explosives including gelatine sticks, 10 detonators with 100 metres of cable, 300 drums of phosphorus and 200 drums of potassium meant for manufacturing claymore mines in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, Police Superintendent Anurag Gupta said on October 13.

On a tip off, police raided a thatched house near Mitra Talab under Sadar police station in Hazaribagh on October 12 night and recovered the explosives.

Raids were being conducted at various places to apprehend the ultras suspected to be activists of banned People's War, he added.
