Rajkumar kidnapping: Crime Branch grills DMK chief

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Police Crime Branch-CID on October 13 questioned former Chief Minister and
Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M Karunanidhi in connection with the kidnapping of
Kannada film icon Rajkumar by forest brigand Veerappan in July 2000.
The questioning at Karunanidhi's residence lasted for about 30 minutes, police sources said.
