Mumbai: After October 13 night's skirmish, three persons were injured in fresh clashes between two communities at Kurla in Central Mumbai on October 14 afternoon, police said.

Tension had been prevailing in the area since October 13 night after two groups clashed and indulged in stone pelting following a dispute over eve teasing, police said.

Of the injured, two were taken to Bhabha Hospital and discharged after being treated for minor injuries, while another one was shifted to a hospital in Sion for tendon injuries, hospital sources said.

Two teams of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been rushed to the spot to monitor the situation.

"The situation is under control," deputy commissioner of police (DCP) Gulabrao Pol said.

Following the incident, a heavy posse of police has been stationed in the sensitive area.

Trouble started after a college girl was allegedly harassed by a boy of the same locality.

Initially, both the families were involved in the minor flare-up, which later turned into a group clash, police added.
