Putrajaya (Malaysia): Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on October 16 said he was ready to meet
Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee "anytime, anywhere", but was not "dying" for it.
"You can't clap with one hand. I want to (have talks). You ask this question to your Prime Minister,"
Musharraf said when asked if there would be an opportunity to have bilateral (Indo-Pak) talks during the
SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) summit.
He, however, said, "Let me add one thing here. They should not think we are dying to meet them. We
would like to meet them for mutual benefit."
Asked if he was ready to have summit level talks with India, Musharraf, who is attending the OIC
(Organisation of Islamic Conference) summit said, "Yes, of course, any time. I have been saying so
many times. Any time, anywhere."
He made it clear that any bilateral talks must include Kashmir.
