PWG naxalite gunned down in Andhra encounter

Hyderabad: An unidentified naxalite of the banned People's War Group (PWG) was killed and two others escaped after an exchange of fire with police near Mustyalpalli village in Warangal district of Andhra Pradesh on October 19 morning.

According to police, a patrolling police party in the area come across with three ultras on the village outskirts who opened fire at police.

In retaliation, police fired at the ultras killing one of them on the spot while two others managed to escape, police added.
