Attack on Naidu: Two naxal sympathisers arrested

Tirupati: For the first time after the assassination bid on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu
Naidu, the Special Investigation Team, probing into the October 1 incident, has arrested two persons,
believed to be sympathisers of the naxal outfit People's War Group (PWG), SIT source said on October
19.
The names of the arrested were given as M V Prasad, a member of the AP Civil Liberties and
Vijayabaskar, member of the Revolutionary Writer's Association. The two were produced before a
magistrate and remanded to judicial custody, the source said.
Meanwhile, sources said the team was questioning about 10 persons, including some civil liberties
members and surrendered naxalites.
