4 killed in UP in blast set off by firecrackers

Basti (UP): Four people were killed and an equal number injured in a blast set off by firecrackers they were manufacturing illegally in a village on October 19 morning.

The blast took place in Raduli village, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) K K Saxena said, adding the injured were hospitalised.

He said initial investigations showed the explosion occurred when the victims were manufacturing crackers illegally.
