Pak shells Indian positions, two civilians injured

Jammu: Pakistani troops fired mortar shells targeting forward Defence locations in Nowshera sector in
Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district injuring two civilians, official sources said in Jammu on October 20.
Indian soldiers retaliated and the exchange of fire, which began on October 19 night, continued till
October 20 morning, the sources said.
Pakistani rangers fired over 200 mortar and artillery shells targeting Defence locations and civilian areas
in Bhawani, Laam and Ghania areas in Nowshera sector, they said.
Two civilians were injured in the shelling, the sources said.
The two sides also traded intermittent fire overnight along the International Border in Jammu division's
Samba sector.
No loss of life or damage was reported on the Indian side.
