Poetess case: Tripathy remanded to JC till Nov 3

Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh Minister Amar Mani Tripathi, an accused in the poetess Madhumita
Shukla murder case, was on October 20 further remanded to judicial custody (JC) till November 3.
Tripathi, whose earlier remand expired on October 20, was produced before the special judicial
magistrate (Central Bureau of Investigation), R M Yadav, who extended his judicial remand.
Tripathi had been arrested by the CBI on September 23 in connection with Madhumita Shukla murder
case.
Madhumita was murdered at her posh paper mill colony residence in the state capital by two assailants
on May 9.
