Kochi: In a bid to enter his name in the Guinness Book of World Records, a 11-year old deaf and dumb boy, on October 23 drove 11 different types of vehicles, including a car, a motorbike and an excavator for short distances.

The boy, Krishnanunni, also drove a jeep, autorickshaw, lorry and a minibus, in front of the spectators, including his schoolmates and some politicians, who gathered at the Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium at nearby Kaloor.

Kerala SC/ST Minister Dr M A Kuttapan flagged off the event on October 23 morning.

The unedited video cassettee of the feat would be sent to the Guinness Book of World Records, the boy's father, Shivan, said.

Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam (SNDP), a socio-cultural organisation of the backward Ezhava community, general secretary Vellapally Natesan inaugurated a Website of the boy, who has been driving vehicles since the age of seven.

Rajya Sabha MP K Chandran Pillai and some MLAs were also present.
