Tirupati: Dr Rajasekhar Reddy, the TDP (Telugu Desam Party) MLA who slipped into a coma after the October 1 blast, would be airlifted within a week from Tirupati to the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, Employment Generation Minister B Gopalakrishna Reddy said on October 23.

The Minister, who was himself grievously injured in the blast and has now fully recovered, was speaking to reporters after visiting Dr Reddy at the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS).
