Saddam behind Baghdad blast: Iraqi Minister
Monday, October 27 2003 14:57 Hrs (IST)

Baghdad: Iraq's interim Deputy Interior Minister Ahmed Ibrahim has charged that ousted President Saddam Hussein is behind the explosions outside the International Committee of the Red Cross headquarters in Baghdad on October 27.

"It's an ignoble terrorist attack carried out by Saddam Hussein's men," Ahmed Ibrahim told reporters at the scene of the ghastly explosions.

"Saddam Hussein is behind all the disasters that are happening in Iraq," the Deputy Minister added.

"I am telling you that we are waiting for him and his supporters."
