Washington: United States President George W Bush urged the nations planning to send troops or manpower to Iraq in response to the United Nations resolution not to back off following the latest bombings in Baghdad saying it would fulfil the intentions of the terrorists.

"Terrorists would want them to back off and that is why it is important for this nation and our other coalition partners to stand our ground, to improve our intelligence, and to move quickly when we find good intelligence and to bring people to justice", Bush said addressing a press conference at the White House.

"The terrorists rely on the death of innocent people to create the conditions of fear that, therefore, will cause people to lose their will. That is their strategy", Bush said.
