'Pak can take more time to reply to peace initiative'
Wednesday, October 29 2003 11:54 Hrs (IST)

Kohima: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on October 29 said India will not mind Pakistan taking "more time" to give its response on the 12-point peace initiative announced recently.

"India has made certain proposals. We are waiting for the response of Pakistan. We don't mind if they take more time", Vajpayee said at a press conference before leaving for New Delhi after a three-day visit to Nagaland.

Observing India had always been taking peace initiative, the Prime Minister said, "let us see how Pakistan reacts".
