Prince Charles calls on PM, discusses Indo-UK ties

New Delhi: Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, today (Oct 30) called on Prime Minster Atal Bihari Vajpayee and discussed the friendly ties between the two countries.

The 20-minute meeting with Vajpayee, held in the Prime Minister's office in Parliament House, was described as a courtesy call.

Prince Charles, who is visiting India after 11 years, had yesterday met President A P J Abdul Kalam, who explained to the visiting dignitary the various aspects of "Vision 2020".
