'India adopting double standards in holding talks'

Islamabad: Accusing India of adopting "double postures" in its approach to holding talks with Pakistan,
Prime Minister Mir Zafrarullah Khan Jamali said continuation of dialogue would help resolve Kashmir and
other issues between the two countries.
Responding to a question about the Indian Confidence Building Measures (CBMs), Jamali claimed India
also wants dialogue but shows double standards and added the core issue between the two countries
was the Kashmir issue which should be resolved by peaceful dialogue.
"Confidence building measures will play an important role in normalising relations. We are moving
towards a solution of the Kashmir issue, because Kashmir is the real
issue between the two countries," official APP newsagency said in a report.
Jamali said the measures proposed by India and Pakistan to ease travel restrictions and open the war-
blocked frontier in Kashmir to civilian traffic are helping to normalise relations and lead to a solution of
larger issues.
"India wants negotiations. We also want a solution of disputes through negotiations," Jamali
said.
In a lighter vein he said one should also not lose confidence over CBMs.
