India, Hungary sign MoU on Defence co-operation

New Delhi: India and Hungary today (November 3) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Defence co-operation and fighting terrorism.

The MoU, signed by Defence Secretary Ajay Prasad and visiting Hungarian Deputy Secretary of State Jozsef Bali, covers areas of Defence co-operation, military training, consultations on Defence and security policies, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.

The agreement also provides for regular holding of meetings of working groups, exchange of visits and participation in conferences and seminars, the spokesman said.
