Truck overturns in Central Silk Board junction

Bangalore: The flyover in the Hosur road- Silk Board junction which was inagurated by Chief Minister S M Krishna on October 30 saw the very first of its kind of accidents today (Nov 5), when a mini truck (407) which was carrying a overload of bricks fell on the main road and the bricks scattered all over the road which caused a traffic jam for some time.

The accident was caused due to the welded wheel disk, which came from the vehicle made it topple. However no one was hurt. The driver had a miraculous escape when he jumped out of the truck. Police arrived at the accident spot and cleared the traffic very quickly, while the truck was moved with the help of a crane.
