Seven tribals burnt alive in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: In a gruesome incident, seven members of a tribal family were burnt alive today (Nov 6), inside their house by people of another caste in a village in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh, police said.

A group of dalits set ablaze the house of a tribal 'Kanjar' caste family in Fatehpur Chaurasi village of the district this morning killing seven persons, they said.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed naming 10 dalits, police said adding senior officials have reached the spot.
