Monday, November 10 2003 13:49 Hrs (IST)

Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court today (November 10) adjourned till November 13, Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi's anticipatory bail in two cases of cheating and threatening an Assistant Sub-Inspector through his Secretary.

Justice Virender Singh adjourned the bail plea application with a direction to the petitioner's counsel to place on record the copy of the order of the Delhi High Court of November 3 rejecting the plea for extension of interim anticipatory bail plea.

Mehndi's counsel Ravinder Kumar said that earlier they could not attach the order as it was received late and the same has been submitted in the High Court here today. The Delhi High Court had on November 3 declined to extend the 10-day interim bail plea to the singer, which ended on November 1.
