No Indian killed in Saudi blasts, reassures Govt
Monday, November 10 2003 21:35 Hrs (IST)

New Delhi: Government today (Nov 10) said no Indian appears to have been killed in the devastating explosions in a housing complex in Riyadh, in which two of its nationals were injured.

While Mohammad Rafiq has been discharged after first aid, Habibur Rahman sustained shrapnel wounds, but his condition was not life threatening, External Affairs Ministry spokesman said.

He was asked about media reports saying that an Indian guard was killed in the bomb blasts.

He said the Indian Embassy in Riyadh was in touch with the Saudi authorities and a help line had been set up to give information relating to the incident.
