Moscow: Observing that friendship between India and Russia has become a "stabilising force" in the
changed world scenario, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today (November 13) said "sky is the limit"
for their strategic partnership and co-operation.
Inspite of up and downs and economic problems, this friendship remained unchanged, Vajpayee told
select representatives of the 14,000-strong Indian community in the Russian capital.
The Prime Minister said when he had visited Russia in 2001 for the Summit meeting with President
Vladimir Putin, he could not believe that he would come again.
"Maybe, I am sticking to my post for too long," he said in a lighter vein but quickly added that relations
with Russia were not linked to any posts.
Vajpayee said during his talks with Putin, they had discussed a host of issues including ones relating to
defence, science, space, industry and trade.
"Our friendship is called strategic partnership," he said.
