Indore: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today (Nov 15) said that the famous Punjabi pop singer Daler Mehndi would be arrested soon as the investigations have revealed that he was involved in human trafficking.

Singh told reporters at Indore Press Club that "Daler cannot evade arrest for long, as investigations revealed that he used to take the people along with his troupe to foreign countries and then leave them there".

When asked about famous danseuse Mallika Sarabhai's involvement in such cases, Singh said he is not in a position to comment on that as it was concerned to a different State.
