Balasore (Orissa): At least 10 persons were killed and 30 others injured when a tourist bus rolled into a ditch at Jayanagar in Orissa's Balasore district early today (November 16), police said.

The victims included six women and four men.

The bus was on its way from Puri to Midnapore in West Bengal via Digha when the mishap occurred at Jayanagar under Bhograi police station, about 70 km from Balasore.

The injured had been admitted in the Government hospital at Jaleswar for treatment.

The sources said that the bus was travelling at high speed when it overturned and fell into the ditch.
