New Delhi: A Delhi court today (November 24) remanded four persons arrested in connection with the
Common Admission Test (CAT) question paper leak to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody for
10 days.
Metropolitan Magistrate V K Khanna remanded accused Ram Kumar Sinha, Manoj Kumar, Kumar
Suman Singh and Hari Shanker Chaudhury to the agency's custody till December 4 to enable it to
interrogate them and recover "incriminating" material as
well as to unearth the conspiracy.
Appearing for CBI, senior Public Prosecutor Mohd Azad submitted that the accused had neither
disclosed the source of the question paper or the names of the accomplices.
The accused needed to be taken to different places across the country to unearth the conspiracy, he
said.
The four were arrested yesterday (November 23) from a hotel in Mahipalpur area of SouthWest Delhi
where they were allegedly giving the question paper of CAT examination along with the answers to four
students.
