12 sentenced to life in post-Godhra massacre case

Ahmedabad: The Nadiad Sessions Court today (Nov 25) sentenced 12 persons to life imprisonment and three to two years' rigorous imprisonment for massacre of 14 Muslims of Ghodasar area in the rural part of the district during post-Godhra communal riots on March 3, 2002.

Sessions Court Judge C K Rane had on November 24 announced the conviction of 15 and acquittal of 48 in the case and had reserved the sentencing for today.
