CAT retest for IIMs to be held on February 15
Wednesday, November 26 2003 16:42 Hrs (IST)

Ahmedabad: The retest for the cancelled Common Admission Test (CAT) for the prestigious Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) will be held on February 15, 2004, IIM-Ahmedabad director Bakul Dholakia said today (Nov 26).

The much-awaited fresh dates were announced in a joint statement by the directors of six IIMs after a day long meeting, and all other modalities of the retest, including printing of questions papers and security related details, were still under discussion.

The crucial exams, held for entrance into business management schools, were cancelled for the first time in its 28-year-old history on November 23 after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) unearthed question paper leakage racket and arrested six persons from Delhi and Pune, including alleged kingpin Dr Ranjit Singh.
