Cong to take up Kerala issue only after polls

New Delhi: With factional feud in the Congress in Kerala heading for a flashpoint, Congress today (Nov
26) said it would keep the issue on the back burner till the Assembly elections.
"We recognise there is a problem there. But we have made it clear that we shall go in depth only after
the polls are over in December," Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
Replying to questions, he said there was, however, no question of the situation being out of control in
the State.
"There is no question of losing the Government," he said.
The crisis appeared to be reaching a flashpoint with the Karunakaran group, which is believed to have
contributed to the Congress defeat in Ernakulam two months ago, giving final touches to its plan of
meeting the Governor tomorrow (Nov 27) with a list of supporters to oust the A K Antony Government.
