Violence erupts in MP during polls; curfew clamped

Indore: A clash today (Dec 1, 2003) broke out between members of two communities over election- related issues in Chhatripura area, prompting authorities to impose curfew.

Rival groups threw stones at each other as they clashed in the area, Indore Collector Mohammad Suleiman said.

He said a dispute over poll-related matter triggered the clash.
