VHP to organise 'Hindu Sammelan' at Ayodhya on Dec 6

Ayodhya: VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) today (Dec 3) said it would organise a 'Hindu Sammelan' at Karsewakpuram in Ayodhya to observe the 'Shaurya Diwas' on the anniversary of demolition of the disputed structure at Ayodhya on December 6.

Block-level rallies would be organised across the country and meetings would be held at important places on the day, in which senior leaders of the organisation were expected to take part, VHP media in- charge Sharad Sharma told reporters.

Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas President Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, VHP Kendriya Secretary R S Pankaj, Jagatguru Purushottamacharya, Dr Ram Bilas Vedanti, VHP Regional Secretary P N Singh and other leaders and dharmacharyas were expected to participate in the Hindu Sammelan, he said.

New committees and 'satsang' programmes would be organised at village-level throughout the country in the next six months to give a boost to the Ayodhya temple movement and an important meeting of 'Dharmacharyas Samparkpramukh' would be held in Ayodhya from December 26 to 28, Sharma said.

A national training camp of Bajrang Dal's state office bearers and district in-charges would be organised at Nagpur from December 24 to 29, he, said adding VHP General Secretary Praveenbhai Togadia would be hold meetings in Uttar Pradesh in March and April 2004.
