Congress gets absolute majority in Delhi

New Delhi: Congress today (Dec 4, 2003) secured absolute majority in Delhi Assembly elections.

Congress bagged 36 seats in the House of 70, leaving Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) way behind with 12 out of 49 seats decided till 14.45 hours (IST).

One seat has gone to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).
