Thursday, December 4 2003 14:39 Hrs (IST)

Bangalore: "ITLeads", a business information source on the Indian IT and IT-related products and services industry, was launched today (Dec 4).

Brought out by Manipal Infomedia Services, a joint venture between Manipal Media Network and UK- based Tecapet/Comcraft Group, it has print, cd-rom and web versions.

According to Manipal Infomedia's Chairman T Gautham Pai, ITLeads' Indian edition 2003-04 has details of more than 8000 IT and IT-related business fraternities across Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune and Kochi.

The company has targeted to distribute 50,000 copies to IT managers, CIOs, CEOs and CFOs, among others.

It planned to bring out a global edition by March/April 2004 and distribute to around 15,000 companies in the US, the UK, Australia, Singapore and other emerging and potential markets, company officials said.

The company is also mulling a foray into the IT software/hardware industry, officials said, adding, under ITLeads banner, an event management company would also be established.
