Stamp scam: Mulani remanded to magisterial custody

Pune: Suspended Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mohammed Chand Mulani, who was arrested last night (Dec 4, 2003) in connection with the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket, was remanded to magisterial custody till December 8.

Mulani, however, did not come to the court on medical grounds.

He was admitted to Sassoon Hospital in Pune early this morning.
