Bihar Minister attacked over DGP Ojha's removal

Patna: Angered by the removal of D P Ojha from the post of Director General of Police (DGP) today (Dec 6, 2003), a group of people attacked Excise Minister Shivanand Tiwari at a book fair in the Gandhi Maidan.

The group attacked the Minister, who had gone for an interactive session at the fair, with slippers.

His security immediately threw a protective cordon around him and took him to a safer place in the fair complex, official sources said.
