New Delhi: Observing that it was his Government's policy to thoroughly probe all allegations of
corruption, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today (Dec 10, 2003) said Central Bureau of
Investigation (CBI) is inquiring into the Judeo cash-on-camera issue and it would be premature to state
anything till the investigation is complete.
Making a suo motu statement in the Lok Sabha, Vajpayee said CBI had sent notices to both former
Union Minister of State for Environment and Forests Dilip Singh Judeo and his Assistant Private
Secretary Natwar Rateria requiring them to appear before the investigating agency.
"It has been the policy of my Government that all allegations pertaining to corruption should be
thoroughly inquired into. Accordingly, the CBI is inquiring into this whole matter and it would be
premature to state anything till the inquiry is complete," he said.
