'India must not take undue advantage of ceasefire'

Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali has asked India to stop fencing along the
Line of Control (LoC) in view of the prevailing ceasefire but asserted the issue would not sabotage the
current normalisation process between the two countries.
"India should not take undue advantage of the ceasefire," Jamali told reporters yesterday (Dec 12,
2003) at the military air base near the capital, on returning from visits to France and
Switzerland.
Claiming fencing violated UN resolution on Kashmir, he said Pakistan had already put forward its
objections to India.
"We do not appreciate it, India should not take undue advantage of the ceasefire," he said.
He, however, replied in the negative when asked if the move sabotaged the peace process.
The issue of fencing was also raised by President Pervez Musharraf yesterday.
