CBI begins probe in Dubey murder case

New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today (Dec 14, 2003) began a probe by registering a
case in connection with the murder of National Highway Authority (NHAI) official Satyendra Dubey, who
had pointed out corruption in the construction of Golden Quadrilateral Project in Bihar.
The CBI registered a case against unknown persons under 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 302 (murder)
and various provisions under Arms Act, agency sources said.
A high-level team was formed in the CBI to crack this case. The team is scheduled to leave for the spot
of crime either tonight (Dec 14, 2003) or early tomorrow, the sources said.
Dubey was murdered at Gaya last month (Nov, 2003O).
